Exterior Stucco Demo Clearing the Way for a Salt Lake City Home Remodel

Every remodel has a starting point. For exterior work, that starting point is demo - and it has to be done right before anyone else can do their part. That's exactly what we were brought in for on this SLC home.

The job here was stucco removal on the front exterior. Stucco looks solid, but it has to come off clean if you want the new material to go on properly. Work too fast or too sloppy and you risk damaging the weather barrier or the sheathing underneath - which creates a much bigger problem for the next crew.

That's where precision demolition matters. We're not just swinging at the wall and calling it done. We work carefully around windows, trim, and existing membranes so the substrate is in good shape when we leave. The water-resistant barrier stays intact. The OSB underneath stays protected.
